The Ivy Data Export Tool is now available.
Until June 15th, 2026, you can export all of your public posts (with their associated likes/comments/reposts), counts for your posts, comments, likes (on your own posts), and follows, as well as some user information.
After that date, the Ivy Data Export Tool will be shut down, and all data will be deleted.
Thank you for using Ivy.
Goodbye Ivy!
Ivy is unfortunately (or fortunately) no longer available as of May 12th, 2026.
Now, I know what you might be thinking. Why shut it down? Why shut it down so abruptly?
Well, it's just because I really dislike this "legacy" community. Mainly because there are many people that some how just can't read, people that want things that are impossible or improbable, and people who simply can't be respectful. (This just proves my point.) (Regarding "why shut it down") There's a few other reasons too, like the morale to work on or even look at this service dropping significantly (due to the above), there being other projects we would prefer to work on, and lastly, I don't think we are the right people to manage such a large service.
(Lastly x2, as someone I know once said, "Vine is a relic that cannot and should not be replicated, it's a product of its time and we should leave it that way.")
The Discord server will be closed after this notice has been put up, only be used for announcements regarding data export availablity, and eventually deleted.
There will be a way to export your videos and other metadata soon.
The source code of the Ivy website and API will not be published. Although, I may (or may not) try to finish the API documentation I started a while ago, so others could try to make their own revival of this stupid app.
